Whether you are thinking of buying or selling a business imminently, or maybe not for some years to come, it is essential that you understand how it will be valued and what enhances or detracts from its value. Knowing how much a business is really worth now will undoubtedly affect whatever plans you have, or intend to make in the future and almost certainly their timing.
This seminar will be helpful to business owners who are thinking about their exit and succession plans or acquiring another company to support their growth plans, and also to management teams who have an opportunity to purchase the company they work for through a management buyout.
At this seminar we will explain how businesses are valued and how to identify features of a business which will be attractive to potential buyers, and also those which may deter them. These factors will also be important to institutions who are asked to provide funding for an acquisition or a management buyout. At the end of the seminar attendees will have an appreciation of real world business valuation principles and be better equipped to identify those factors driving and draining the value and saleability of their own company.
